Yessss ! We are more or less familiar with the concept of art created by machines, but this new. The site [link] offers automatic assesment of aesthetic rating of photos. This is quite odd and dubious, but it amuse me to no ends !

I am fed-up to receive notes of "warnings" about a virus that could allegedly distroy your files by adding someone to your watch list, and an incitation to propagate this bullshit to your whole list of friends. Only people totally clueless about how computers works can beleive that, and propagate this is spam. This could not lead to destruction of your precious files ( and you have backups, anyway ) but it could lead to an explosive waste of bandwith and being reported as spammer to DA staff. I am not used to brag but whom would you trust on computer matters, an old computer engineer that has worked with every OS you never heard of, or a clueless teenager that want to attract some attention ?
My advice.
Have a good anti-virus and anti-trojan installed and update it on a regular basis ( I guess most of you are using a window flavored OS ). AND
make backups ( HD sometimes crashes, you know ? ) AND
make external archives ( CD, HD, DVD, or external on-line storage with backups ). Several places if this is critical date, like your financial datas or things that are very important to you.
AND of course, do not open .exe files that come in you mailbox, unless they come from a trusted source and you required it, or downloaded it from a trustable site. Sites that offer you commercial
software with a 90% rebate are not trustable sites.
And please, never, never send a message of pyramidal sheme to your all mail list.
In the best of case it is pollution, and you will be blocked. In the worst of case it is crookery, and makes you an accomplice that can be sued for trying to make money out of nothing.

I like this combo of colors a lot, for it warm when the orange goes brown, elegant when the black goes grey, striking when the orange is close to red or yellow...And often, all those qualities at the same time.
