May be the white appears too white. It is not pure white, may be I should modify it a bit toward more ivory. On paper it will be ok but the light of the screen is different.

I don't know. Maybe just a little. Not cream.

There is an optical illusion. In the centre the long line appears slightly beige.
I like it very much and the title suits it. Japan seems a very tidy country with much precision.

Yes, ivory, not cream.
Never been in Japan, I'd like to but it is very expensive. Not only the travel, everything. A colleague went to Japan ( for work ) during several month with his family. He have four children and he says that he have to control the doses in the bathroom, he was broke buying soap and toothpaste :) !

I didn't know that.

There is a man who makes FraMs at the club. He is Canadian and lives in Japan which he likes a lot.

Did you ever see a Japanese film called, I think, l'Ile Bleu.
It came out in the 60's.
There was almost no story. It showed the hard life of a peasant family that lived on a very small island and cultivated rice. There was no water and they had to fetch it by boat, to water their plants everyday. It was very moving although boring to certain people.I liked it. Bernard didn't .

No, I dont know this film. I like all Kurosawa films, but that's something very different.

It was an Art et Essais film. The music became well known.Very pretty.
Of course I got the title wrong. L'Ile Nue.You can find it on Google. It was presented at La Rochelle in 1961. It was made by Kaneto Shindo.

This is a very nicely-balanced abstract. I could see this as a textile of some sort, perhaps an area rug in a minimalist apartment/home.

Why not ? But I am not a textile maker, and all textile maker I know have there own models.
The overall compo can be used, but probably the different shading from top to bottom cannot be done with one textile.
All I cant do is art prints.
